Reading Royals Football birthday cake

A super fun cake as a realistic football and a delicious cake too made with moist vanilla sponge, delicious strawberry extra jam and lashings of yummy butter cream.  The Reading Royals scarf, hand made in blue and white fondant, is cast casually around the football and the cake is finished with smart hand piped mexican waves around the board and a special message is hand piped on a sugar plaque to keep.

Of course, I can offer different colour schemes to match your team and would love to make a special cake like this for you.

3 Tier exquisite hand piped wedding cake

This is a truly exquisite wedding cake, really elegant and classic, yet with a modern twist.

I was inspired by the intricate beading patterns on the bride’s beautiful dress, scaled them to fit the cake design, traced them carefully onto the cake and then hand piped over them, using fine brush work to make them look as authentic as possible.

The hand arranged roses were lifted by loops of teal ribbon to match the couple’s colour theme.  The cake looked absolutely stunning and was much admired by everyone.

In The Night Garden Birthday Cake

A wonderful In The Night Garden birthday cake, hand painted to make the cake look like the lovely garden.  Makka Pakka stands by his cave, the Tombliboos get ready for the party with some presents, Upsy Daisy stands surrounded by daisies and Iggle Piggle waits to welcome you to the garden.  The cake is finished with a sugar plaque to keep and dusted with cake sparkles.

This delicious cake can be made of moist vanilla sponge, milk or dark chocolate cake, lemon, fruit or chocolate marble cake, all with lashings of tasty butter cream – yummy

Tardis Birthday Cake

Guaranteed to delight both the birthday boy and his friends!   A replica of the infamous tardis built in sugar and cake – yummy!  An incredible 12″ tall, to scale with a special piped message and fine detail.  A cake to remember for everyone who was at the party!

12 tier wedding cupcake tower

This is the most amazing wedding cake to see.  It is an incredible 12 tiers high and just about brushes the top of the marquee!  There are 160 chocolate cupcakes, rich yet light, generously topped with swirls of luxurious dark chocolate ganache (an amazing concoction of the best chocolate, double cream and luscious butter!)  Finished with a hand cut, hand painted sugar swirl and dusted with light reflecting cake sparkles with a lilac flash to match the bride’s colour scheme.

The cake was the centre piece of such a special wedding and drew gasps and admiring glances from the guests as it stood for all to see – well it could hardly be missed!

Fairy tree stump house

Deep in the forest there are pretty fairies who live in a tree stump house.  I have tried to recreate their home in sugar and delicious cake.  There are hand cut, hand painted fairies in lilac, pink, gold, yellow, green and blue – so lovely.  The house has windows with pretty curtains, a garden and a wooden front door compete with bell.

There are hand painted toadstools and mushrooms, colourful flowers and pretty plants rambling over the house.  This is a large cake, but could be scaled down or changed to reflect another season or tree, such as silver birch in the Autumn.

Animal cupcake birthday cake

A lovely stack of cupcakes designed for a special first birthday.  Each cupcake is made with an individually hand cut, hand painted fun animal with two balloons, again hand painted.

The top cutting cake is decorated with loads and loads of hand cut balloons, with hand piped strings and a sugar plaque to keep forever.

The stand is made with matching fondant and more hand made balloons and strings.  This beautiful cake made a stunning centre piece for a very important little boy.

This arrangement was made up from 40 cakes, but I could offer more cakes or fewer cakes and it would be just as lovely.

Finding Nemo birthday cake

A fun cake with the much loved fish with a heart, Nemo.  He is in perfect proportion, complete with smaller fin and a huge smile, leaping out of the cake with spirals and sugar balls – lots of fun!  Around the outside of the cake there are hand made, hand painted sea creatures, dolphins, angel fish, flat fish, piped pink coral and sea weed.

This is a lovely cake and will delight every Nemo fan.

Peppa Pig House birthday cake

A charming and super Peppa Pig house birthday cake, really eye catching and absolutely delicious.  Peppa and her family jump up and down in the muddy puddle in the garden amongst the pretty flowers both in the garden and rambling over the house.  The house is true to the cartoon, even down to the aerial for Daddy Pig’s telly.

This is a large cake and will feed all the children and the mummies and daddies too.  The house can be offered as the one here and also as a smaller size.
