RSS UpdatesA beautiful and stunning Summer wedding cake, made from four tiers, each a different flavour, dark chocolate, lemon, vanilla with extra strawberry jam and moist traditional fruit cake. Ribbon in four different subtle colours criss cross each other as they spiral around the white cake.
Each tier is divided by a bank of Summer flowers, scented peonies, cream and white roses and rose buds, astilbee and stunning blue delphinium in different shades of blue.
We were delighted with the effect of James and Kate’s cake and wish them both a long and happy life together.

First of all an apology for not getting to see you yesterday at Wasing – we just seemed to be so busy, make up etc.
Secondly and most importantly – thank you so much for the fantastic cake. It looked amazing (far too beautiful to cut I heard a couple of guests say). Certainly, it must have tasted as good as it looked – when Kate went this morning to ask for the remaining cake that had been boxed up, she was told ‘it’s all gone’. She could not believe it as she didn’t even managed to get a piece herself and it was no consolation to know that her dad and I didn’t either. I gather a few people having chosen one flavour, just had to try another! My mum actually rang today to say the fruit cake was delicious and my aunt, a great cake maker, commented ‘one of the most moist she had tasted’.
Thank you once again and I’m sure you will receive other orders from those who were so impressed. I’m not sure if you always take photographs but if there was a particularly good one, I’ll send you a copy.
