We are getting more and more requests for special dietary needs, and at Cakeadelic we try hard to oblige! Some of the requests recently have been eggless, coeliac and virtually fat free. Its not always possible to have the same texture and taste as a traditional sponge cake but we will try very hard and you may be surprised by the results.

Our fun wedding cake is colour themed to be perfect with the theme of this wedding at the venue of our partner, Bearwood Lakes Golf Club. The hand made stand with sugar flowers sets off our cupcakes so perfectly, and the ribbons fall from the top, showing off the delicious giant cupcake top cake. There are 72 cupcakes on the stand, in four delicious flavours: carrot, decorated with hand piped carrots, lemon with crystalised lemon strips, white chocolate with a button and vanilla, filled with jam and decorated with a hand made sugar flower.

We are always up for a challenge. Recently a client from Leeds called me because a cake they had made by another supplier and carried down South for the party, hadn’t survived the journey. It was in pieces. It was a 3 tier 60th wonky birthday cake – those wonky cakes are always very tricky at the best of times. Overnight we re-seated the layers on firm bases and underpinned the cake with proper dowelling. By 10am the following morning the cake was again ready for a fantastic party!

A lovingly made fairy castle for two precious little twins. A model of each twins is made in sugar and tucked up in sugar petals. There is plenty of cake for everyone too with a set of 10 and 8 inch round sponges. On the front there is a hand piped sugar plaque, as well as plenty of decorative sugar towers, covered by rambling flowers and blossoms.
The hand dusted fairies look after the babies and one takes flight to show us the number 1, covered in rose petals.
Such a beautiful cake, all you can do is say “WOW” and look for the stairs and detail that you might have missed the first time.
